Want to get involved?
How do you get involved in TNC? There’s only one answer: Any way that you want to!
But just in case you’re having trouble coming up with some ideas, we’ve made a list to help you:
What does it mean to be a “TNC Network Church” and how do you become one?
Well, there are no membership requirements or fees. To become a network church, you simply make a commitment that TNC will be part of your international mission efforts and that your church will promote our programs, our trips and our events. You and your church benefit from being plugged into a proven, successful international mission infrastructure, rather than having to create this program from scratch.
Take, for example, the journey of Dutilh UM Church, which became TNC’s seventh network church a few years ago. Back in 2012, a men’s Sunday school class at Dutilh read about the plight of the poor around the world, particularly in Africa. After the emotional study, members of the group expressed an interest in digging water wells in Africa but had no expertise or contacts to pursue that mission. Eventually, they were introduced to TNC and agreed to become leaders of our Rural Clinics program. From there, the TNC-Dutilh relationship flourished: Dutilh members visited Nyadire in 2013 and began attending TNC’s monthly meetings; more men and women from the congregation became financial sponsors of TNC’s programs; TNC became an annual line item in Dutilh’s budget and contributed funds to the clinics from a capital campaign; Dutilh’s pastors promoted TNC during sermons and mission moments; the church hosted a “TNC Month” and added TNC to its ministry fairs; and in 2019 Dutilh organized its own a mission team to Nyadire.
So you want to become a TNC Network Church and fan your flames of international mission work? Let us know, and we’ll help you stoke that fire!
We also ask that you PRAY for us and our friends in Zimbabwe.
