Cultural awareness training - February 13
A Cultural Awareness & General Planning Training will be held on February 13th at 6:30 p.m. at Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. Anyone interested in joining a 2017 volunteer team trip to The Nyadire United Methodist Mission in Zimbabwe, Africa, must attend. There is a 3 week team trip scheduled to depart in mid-July.
The Nyadire Connection is looking for volunteers with a wide range of skills such as reading with a child, participating in a pastor’s workshop, assisting with maintenance, Bible School, or helping at the hospital. There are endless opportunities to engage in cross-cultural relationships, develop partnership programs, serve God and others, and grow spiritually.
